This season think gilded metals and jeweled embellishments. You can pair up these trend-on adornments with jeans and biker boots for a casual chic look, or go all out red carpet glam 2 ways like Anna did during the Emmy ceremony, and then again revamped for post partying.

Get the House of Lavande red carpet look:
1950's unsigned red and gold link bracelet - $398
1930's red channel set bracelet - $548

Titled "Going Places" this fashion story presented by T Magazine, shot by Mark Segal and styled by David Vandewal, tells the story of woman who travels the world and wears her souvenirs on her sleeves. Last Days of Pastels

As the final days of summer are ticking by and you have fall must-haves on the brain (hello leopard + camel + gray + all things fur embellished), its hard to keep a fresh mind on your current everyday wardrobe. Before you store all your summer sorbet pastels (and yes, don't toss, chose to store as they will be making a strong re-appearance come resort time) here is a refresher to help re-inspire your current look for today.
To transition into fall now, add a belted pale gray cardigan, light leopard print scarf or must-have statement nude pump to any pastel ensemble. Or go with fall's au courant camel and pale gray now, and pair-up with a spring pastel statement accessory.

Is Short The New Long?

 Emma Watson goes short

The latest news in the worlds of style & beauty is all about Emma Watson chopping her locks, and oh-so-short. Yes, the 60s are making an influential statement throughout the fall and resort collections, but the big question will be, are long locks long gone and will short be the new sure thing? You have to admit Miss Watson looks quite current and glam. Will you be channeling your inner pixie this season?

How short will you go?
