Fall 2012, Via Paris
Nina Ricci
Peter Copping's inspiration for Nina Ricci's fall line is one we are particularly fond of here at House of Lavande. "Nostalgia for the present" is how the collection was summed up. Lace, prints, tulle, and silhouettes that are reminiscent of times past, but worn for the modern woman sum up this wonderful collection.
Balmain
Embellished, beaded, and embroidered are all great words to describe Balmain for Fall. Boxy cut jackets paired with form fitting skirts and pants were also a staple. WWD said it best when they described the line as jewels for the body! We love it!
Balenciaga
Balenciaga for the working woman? As if we needed a reason to love Nicolas Ghesquière more. A fall line inspired by what Ghesquiére envisioned women working at Balenciaga, Inc. would wear to the office is brightly colored, with A- line skirts, jumpsuits, and full round jackets. These are pieces that will surely kick up your office dress code.
Tommy Ton: Street Style
The fashions off of the runway, are as usual, just as exciting. A few snaps from the streets of Paris by Tommy Ton are always a nice addition to our fashion inspiration files!

Tommy Ton and The Fellas
Our favorite street style fashion photog is at it again, friends. This time around he has made his way to Florence to the kick off of the annual Pitti Uomo men's shows. A collection of stylish and well put together gentleman is something we all love to see. We're lucky that these days, style and attention to fashion detail aren't reserved for ladies only. If you don't believe us, just ask the New York Times. A great focus on five of the male fashion bloggers who get it, and are bringing to us with swag. Yeah we said it.
