In celebration of Friday's hugely anticipated release of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, we thought it would be most apropos to get inspired for the occasion by showcasing this fashionable homage shot by Annie Leibovitz for Vogue back in December 2003. I think right about now we are all wishing for some sunny weather and warmer temps, and what better way to prepare us for summer then this chic surfs up story featured in Vogue Australia March edition. This spring many designers influenced by the sun, sand and surf showcased vibrant colors and print, and introduced new ways to wear sporty surf fabrics for everyday and evening looks. Designers Proenza Schouler even took it up a notch by color blocking the tips of their models locks during their runway presentation which clearly influenced this pictorial.
